Our Story

Bee Naked Honey Farms is a beekeeping business operating in the Lowveld region of the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. We produce delicious raw honey and provide pollination services. The company started in 2012 as African Honey Bee Kruger Park (Pty) Ltd. Since then, the company has been rebranded as Bee Naked Honey Farms (Pty) Ltd. This was done to align the honey producing entity with the marketing brand Eat Naked. All our honey is marketed by Pharmamark (Pty) Ltd, under the Eat Naked brand.

The Lowveld region of Mpumalanga is a major producer of South African subtropical fruit. The area is also known for vast Eucalyptus plantations. These sustainably managed Eucalyptus plantations are some of the largest in the world. Sappi is the largest forestry company in South Africa – they own and manage 500 000 hectares of plantation land. Bee Naked has partnered with Sappi to exclusively use their plantations in the Lowveld for beekeeping. Sappi thus plays and important role in enabling beekeeping, bee health and quality, and pollination in Mpumalanga.

Bees need nectar and pollen to survive – this makes them one of the most effective pollinators. Improved pollination leads to better yields and fruit quality. We offer professional, high-quality pollination services to our farmer clients in Mpumalanga. We do this by establishing and committing to long term business relationships, in which we partner with farmers to provide optimum and reliable service.

We produce natural raw honey, that is great to eat, healthy and environmentally friendly.
